Cafeen i Nikolaj

Nikolaj Plads 12, København, 1067

Cafeen i Nikolaj, which to some evokes Greenwich Village in the 1950s, is situated on the site that, around 1530, was the scene of the thundering sermons of Hans Tausen, a father of the Danish Reformation. Today orating has been replaced by ordering, from an array of Danish lunches including a tasty variety of sandwiches along with homemade soups. It is a simple cafe for good-tasting food prepared with fresh ingredients sold at a fair price.
