Caffe Uno - Glasgow Description

Each of Caffe Uno's outlets is a welcoming and friendly Italian café styled restaurant that provides a comfortable and elegant place to party with friends or to enjoy with family.

For breakfast start with a smoked bacon ciabatta sandwich and a coffee whilst for lunch classics such as spaghetti carbonara and piadina wrap, grilled chicken, bacon and mayonnaise wrap are on hand.

The à la carte encompasses a wide range of imaginative dishes including giganti con ricotta e asparagi, generous fresh egg tortellini filled with ricotta, asparagus and cheese, seasoned with melted butter and lemon and pollo milanese, tender escalope of chicken with a crispy coating of ciabatta crumbs served with Genovese pesto and spaghetti pomodoro. There are also salads and other vegetarian options for you to choose from.

At Caffe Uno a good way to finish is a tartufo nero affogato, a rich chocolate ice cream bomb, coated with cocoa powder and toasted hazelnuts that tastes best with a shot of hot espresso coffee.
