The overall response was a thumbs up. Ordered char kway teow, and I have to say it was better than all I have had in this country and even better than some of the ones I had in KL. Nasi lemak was also good, but it’s down on the menu as mild so the sambal was quite tame. On the down side, the hokkien mee was not that great and the roti chanai was clearly a frozen one which was undercooked, the dal was also very oily. We had bought a beef rendang home along with another nasi lemak. The take away portions do seem larger than the restaurant ones though. I would give this place a try if you long for the food of Malaysia. Whilst not perfect it was very reasonably priced and centrally located. They also have another branch in Bayswater.
