Casa Del Mar has the best tapas this side of Barcelona! It was simply delicious. The calamari was tender and juicy, the prawns were succulent and tasty and overall, the atmosphere was brilliant. I will definitely be going back.

In all honesty, to find a better restaurant than this you have to drive a long way. And it’s not just the food, which is beautiful that makes it such a fantastic experience. The staff are brilliant - young, vibrant and friendly. If they don't know something, they'll find out for you straight away - often from Lindsay or Adam, the assistant manager and manager. These two are a wonderful team, always happy to help and more than approachable. The atmosphere is excellent, the decor, music, and location on the marina all help create it.

But you cannot talk about the Casa del Mar without mentioning the cocktails. Traditional, perfectly made and more tasty than you can imagine, they top off the evening perfectly. If you go on a weekend, you will be lucky enough to have them made for you by Rob, a fantastic barman! His knowledge of wines and spirits is very impressive, especially for a young man, and he will make you anything you like, even if it is not on their extensive list. He also creates his own, and after being in there last night, I can confidently recommend his strawberry cheesecake! Perfect for pretty much every occasion, I heartily recommend the Casa Del Mar!
