Casa Italia Description

It's amazing what you can get up to in converted warehouses and Casa Italia is a case in point. A bit rough, but in the nicest possible way, this one provides the setting for a noisy, happy restaurant (if that's not too formal a word in this case - perhaps café would be better) where the real Italian stuff is served up with charm and hilarity. All the world and his wife congregate here, except on Sundays when the staff are into recovery time. A wine list to match the venue with house wine at £10.95.

I have been going to the Casa Italia every Saturday for the past nineteen years and I am very impressed with the status of the restaurant. The food is great, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is fabulous. The best thing is that it is homely and you have no problems finding a table to sit.

However, sometimes it can get a little busy. However, being busy is good. It shows confidence and assurance that the restaurant is more than capable of being fabulous.

My fiancée and I ate at Casa Italia for my birthday and the food we ordered came quickly and tasted amazing. I had the pasta dish with chilli which I would recommend. The down side to that restaurant is that it's extremely busy and the tables are tightly packed in. You seem to be sitting very close to the people on another table, which to me felt slightly uncomfortable.
