Casa Mia Millennium Description

Francesco Mazzella moved from London to Leeds in 1994 and started the Casa Mia group of restaurants, which have over time built a reputation for their cuisine and service setting a trend for the eating out scene in the region. The Millennium is the group's flagship restaurant and features a coffee bar, deli, licensed bar and restaurant based on two floors including extensive al fresco dining.

Start with thin slices of cured beef served on a bed of rocket leaves with parmesan shavings and truffle oil and king tiger prawns roasted with garlic, white wine, lemon juice, olive oil and fresh ginger. For main course order trio of fresh fish cooked with white wine, lemon juice, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary and supreme of chicken cooked with a creamy white wine and mushroom. Those who prefer pizzas can choose from the large selection available.

I had a fabulous night with excellent service and the food was Italiano. I love pizza and boy they make a great pizza.

I visited this place many times during the day with our little boy and in the evening and always enjoyed their lovely food and the atmosphere in the evening is particularly enjoyable. The service has always been excellent and the restaurant is very child friendly. My wife likes Italian food far more than I and rates Casa Mia as one of her favourites from hundreds we have tried. The only downside for us is the cost of wine, the last visit we paid £28 for a run of the mill Pinot Grigio.
