Casa Robles is located in Calle Alvarez Quintero, which used to be called 'Mercaderes'. It looks onto the symbolic Cathedral of Seville, which is located just thirty feet from the restaurant. The restaurant served as a winery where the new wines of Villalba del Alcor, from his own vinyards in Huelva, were sold. Robles developed into a extensive winery and bar with two new buildings next to the original. The early days were difficult because most guests preferred to eat tapas at the bar rather than a sit-down meal. Nowadays, Casa Robles has ten dining rooms of varying sizes.
