We have been eating at the Casa Romana for five years now, and have never yet had a bad experience. The staff were always welcoming and friendly, the service was as quick as freshly-cooked food allows, and the surroundings were informal, clean and also welcoming. Children, (always well-behaved so far that we've seen) are treated as individuals. The meals we have had there have been well cooked and presented, and in our view were good value for money, especially the lunch-time happy hour portions. These are a bit smaller than normal, but are still more than adequate for lunchtime. If you like your food spicy, try the Pizza d'action.
