Case Restaurant, The Description

As with people, so with places, Case is one of those you either love or loathe. Set in a large room it has a trendy approach to life and has been described as a northern restaurant charging southern prices.

This may be slightly less than fair and there is no doubt that many people swear by it and keep on going back. The buzz factor is high and the food, which could be described as 'modern adventurous', seems to please most.

I go to The Case on special occasions as it does not fit my daily budget. However, the weekday lunch menu is quite reasonable. The food is fabulous and atmosphere is great. It is in a central location and the owner is very welcoming.

I love the case restaurant and its menu so it was the ideal place to take my guests visiting from London to a first class restaurant. Imagine my total disappointment when faced with a limited menu on a bit of paper just because there were eight of us and was classed as a big party. The food was lovely and the service was great as usual but I wish I was told when I booked.
