Cask & Taverners Description
Not for nothing is Godshill celebrated as one of the prettiest villages on the Isle of Wight and no small part of that charm is centred on the village pub. A good balance is maintained between its function as the pub and its wider duties in terms of eating well. The food is good honest British, well prepared and served in a friendly and attentive fashion. There are always tasty specials on the board; these may include pheasant with mushrooms and bacon and very good herb-crusted baked haddock. A range of good beers is always available and the wine list does very well.

This is a classy restaurant that is very good value. The food hits the spot and the house wines are really cheap! Worth a visit
