Cast Restaurant Bar & Deli Description
One of the latest and most welcome restaurants to hit the city of Nottingham is Cast, the replacement development for the former Limelight Bar alongside the Nottingham Playhouse, and owned by Moro Restaurants.
Inside all is chic design with peacock blue and burnt orange dominating to give a warm glow with splashes of contrast. The deli is a nice touch and much needed in the particular area.
In keeping with the buzz of the theatre and its design is the food with deep-fried crab and corn hush puppies with mango relish, roasted pork tenderloin with chorizo mash, pork juice and sage crisps giving the general tone.
A cool line in cocktails helps the evening along and given Moro's other enterprises in Nottingham, the prospects for Cast look promising.

I have never submitted a review before but felt I should this time. We had a pre theater meal about three weeks ago and sadly the maitre d' was trying to hold it all together pretty much solo. A couple nearby had to cancel their coffee and another gentleman became rather voluble in his complaint. This is a wonderful venue but the administration is a let down. I do hope they get their act together.

This place has the best outdoor seating in Nottingham, and the new smalls menu in the bar is excellent. Staff are happy, well trained, and friendly. It's too bad the a la carte menu is only available in the evenings, as I think that's the menu that the chefs put the most effort into. Best olives in town!!!
