You do not really appreciate how wonderful a restaurant Catalan is, until you no longer have the opportunity to have a meal there. Take it from two Americans who were regulars there for close to two years and now no longer live in Warwick. The ambiance is superb, with an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The owners - Malcolm and Julie - take great pride in ensuring you do not just have a nice meal, but that you experience a wonderful evening or a relaxing lunch. They are always up for a chat at the bar before or after your meal. The food is always first rate, whether it is the tapas, regular menu items, or one of the specials created by a very skilled kitchen staff each Friday and Saturday night. What else can I say other than we sure wish we still had that opportunity open to us.

Catalan is the best kept secret that you want to tell everyone. In fact I am most indiscreet and quite regularly recommend Catalan as my fantastic restaurant. From lunchtime light bite tapas, all delicious, to evening fine dining, it's the special occasion as well as the 'oh that looks interesting' place. All this and lovely people too. If you keep meaning to go then don't delay anymore. Then you can start enjoying telling the secret too.
