Catch 55 Bistro Description

Catch 55 is a lively and attractive bistro, owned and run by Stefanie and Ben Holt-Wilson. The service is snappy and friendly, the food very good and reasonably priced, there is something on the menu to suit all tastes and you can order a large or small portion of any dish which suits children (or adults!) with small appetites. Matched by a snappy little wine list the overall forecast is 'set fair, not a shower in sight'. The results of all this are producing an interesting restaurant that is certainly pulling in the Salcombe jetset and the visitors.

Your Reviews of Catch 55 Bistro

Sara (20 September 2007)

My sister and I adore the busy and buzzy bistro. We have visited three summers in a row when in Salcombe. A compact and something-for-everyone menu, expertly cooked, generous portions and well presented with plenty of fresh herbs. The ambience is lively, the service slick and friendly and memories of a steaming bowl of mussels with a glass (or two) of flinty dry white is making my mouth water.

A Rock (10 August 2007)

The service was excellent the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had the crab platter which was superb and probably the best item on the menu. I had the seafood platter at Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant in Padstowe later that week which was double the price and not as good! Well done to Catch and the staff- we will be seeing you again when we next visit Solcombe!
