What could be better than sitting down to a fantastic game with great food and a bunch of friends? At Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse, this is an oft seen scenario where people come down for business lunches, after work happy hours, office parties, and regular late night fun and of course, the games that are displayed on the numerous flat screen TVs. The restaurant, which tries to adapt to the gastropub culture, offers a full menu till 1 am.

Starters include dishes such as baked macaroni and cheese with crispy bacon crumb crust and soups, salads and sandwiches make substantial meals. The Sunday brunch has some interesting dishes such as apple butter pancakes, Cavanaugh's egg scramble or a double stacked BLT. Entrées might include ale battered fish and chips or gnocchi with braised pulled chicken and there's something for everyone to drink, with the twelve draft beers and various bottled ones.
