Cazimir Description
For those who associate matters Polish with gloomy dockyards and turbulent politics, just clear your mind of prejudice and hurry along down to Cazimir where Ania Piotrowska holds sway. First the decor, a riot of bright cheerful colours that runs through the entire range of fittings in the restaurant, but done in such a way that it doesn't jar. There are not too many restaurants where square, as in 6 x 6, dishes contain the salads and soups. Then there's the food, Polish dishes such as sopocka, (smoked pork) and cheesecake, mingling happily with the new slant on a wide range of traditional English sandwiches. There is no licence and BYO is not an option but many find the atmosphere quite buzzy enough.
