Cerutti 2 Description

The Cerutti family seem to have taken to redundant railways buildings like fish to Cerutti 2 at Beverley. Here it is the old waiting rooms at Beverley Station that have been rejuvenated into a spacious and welcoming restaurant that serves attractive and beautifully prepared food with a strong input from the sea.

The value for money is exceptional - for £33 two people can enjoy a three course meal including a bottle of wine, chosen from an attractive menu that could embrace salmon mousse with lemon on seasonal leaves, roast haddock with saffron mash and the pud of the day or cheese board.

At those prices one can hardly grumble at paying extra for the coffee. A decent wine list offers something for everybody. And if you are agonising over what to offer the in-laws for supper the following day a quick visit to Cerutti's deli next door could melt your problems away.

Absolutely gorgeous! The service was excellent, the food was beautiful and the surroundings were very modern without being pretentious. We will certainly visit again.

The first time I ate there I fell in love with the place. However, when I returned with high expectations the service was uncomfortably slow, and the fish was overcooked.
