Set overlooking Clapham Common Chez Bruce remains an eternally popular Clapham eatery both for business dinners and romantic meals for two. Bruce Poole's Michelin Star winning cooking means that booking is essential as locals appreciate that £27.50 for three courses of French cuisine of this quality is well worth it. The menu features dishes such as whole Tuscan pigeon, roast cod with olive oil mash or calves' liver with spinach and ricotta ravioli.

Seriously yummy food! My fiancé and I went there just after Christmas and had a lovely meal - couldn't fault the food! However, the tables are so close together that it was difficult to hear each other as there were so many other conversations going on around you. But the food was incredible...

One of the best evenings ever! The food was a pleasure and service was exceptional. Wine Menu extensive and the best ever cheese board. Only wish I could remember the name of our waiter, he was excellent (too much wine to recall his name).
