Chez Jerome Description
The restaurant is rustic and was built in the 16th Century, situated right in the heart of Dunstable. It is run by Chef Jerome, who has considerable experience with Michelin starred French cuisine, and his wife Lina, who has worked with Italian food for over 15 years, together they have created menus to suit any diet.
The choice is changed according to season and their products are all freshly prepared to order. They offer a full a la carte and fixed price lunch with two courses for only £9.95, while at dinner (except for Saturdays) two courses are £16.95.
The most popular starter is the grilled large pacific prawns in garlic and white wine while the favourite main dish is the fillet of beef topped with foie gras with a rich red wine jus at, finishing with their famous vanilla crème brûlée - all main courses are accompanied by seasonal vegetables produced locally.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly and you are welcomed by experienced staff; whilst the wine list has been carefully selected to show the best from all round the world.

Our meal last evening, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, was simply delicious. I would definitely recommend Chez Jerome to my friends and we will certainly be back long before our next anniversary. My starter of diced king prawns and crayfish cocktail was worth a special mention as was my husband's main course of fillet of sole.

I have been waiting for a French restaurant for a long time now so went to Chez Jerome on Saturday. It was absolutely lovely – warm, friendly atmosphere, service and food. I will definitely be going again.
