Chez Liline Description

A family and homely restaurant with a cool light blue interior gives the setting to this delightful seafood restaurant. Its traditional Mauritian cuisine, which is a combination of French Creole and Chinese, was one of the first fusion cuisines.

I have been to Chez Liline for the past 15 years (at least I think!) and it never fails to be delicious. The staff are friendly and the food cooked to perfection. You may have to wait a little but this is reassuring as you know it is being freshly made. Specially recommended are the King prawn Chow Chow and Plateau Setois. Do go you won’t regret it.

A small and discreet place in a not-so-glam location, but the food is fantastic, The fish is fresh, cooked to perfection and the portions aren't skimpy. Service is friendly but slow, however that's because your meal is being cooked from scratch by people who know that rushing doesn't make for a good flavour. Don't come for a quick bite, come for the evening, settle in with a good bottle or two of wine and just enjoy. If you like fish, you'll go once and keep going back - why pay West End prices when this place can do it better for less?
