Easily the best restaurant in the N4-N8 area and there is decent competition. I've been going there for over 20 years and the fish and seafood is of Michelin star quality at a fraction of the cost and with much bigger portions. A recent refurbishment has greatly improved the previously much maligned decor. It is among the very best restaurants in London in its price range.

I have been to Chez Liline for the past 15 years (at least I think!) and it never fails to be delicious. The staff are friendly and the food cooked to perfection. You may have to wait a little but this is reassuring as you know it is being freshly made. Specially recommended are the King prawn Chow Chow and Plateau Setois. Do go you won’t regret it.
