Chi Noodle

5 New Bridge Street, Bride Court, London, EC4V 6AB

Let's keep it simple is the philosophy behind Chi Noodle and Wine Bar on New Bridge Street, where guests can pop in for a quick bite in their excellent restaurant or spend a languorous evening with friends in the ground floor bar. Dishes are always cooked to order, so they're very accommodating for individual tastes, and diners can enjoy a range of eclectic Asian fare, ranging from hotpots to well loved hawker style food. Start with some of their small dishes, grilled pork dumplings with sweet chilli sauce or maybe the spicy prawn crackers and then try the grilled beef with bean sprouts, red onions, coriander, carrots and chillies in a fiery broth, garnished with fried shallots. Stir fries are aplenty, the pan fried thin egg noodles topped with scallops, prawns, squid and pak choi, being a prime example.

REVIEWS OF Chi Noodle

Samuel (17 November 2008)

We went there on Thursday with a few new work colleagues after work for the first time. This is apparently their local, incorporating a nice snug bar on the ground floor and the Wagamama style restaurant in the basement, but that is where the similarities end. The food here is superior to any thing else. I had the laksa, and it was simply awesome together with a side dish of salt and chilli calamari, which was tender, spicy and full of flavour. My colleagues had some stir fried noodle dish, which they always order and they said the consistency is always very good here. The service was efficient, but the waitresses could smile a bit more.
