Chicago Rib Shack, The

Like its name suggests, the Chicago Rib Shack has, with success, introduced the people of Knightsbridge and beyond to a tasty slice of America. Founder Bob Payton's vision to create London's best barbeque restaurant has satisfied and delighted many diners over the years. The design features are quirky and amusing, take the exhi'pig'tion by the front door for example, a collection of ceramic pigs dotting the wall, or dozens of clustered hanging light  bulbs in the dining area.

The menu embraces steaks, burgers, fish, potato skins, fries, chicken wings and salad, while the kosher pan delivers BBQ chicken breast, rib steak and beef burger. All smoked meats are dry rubbed with a 25 year old unique spice blend and slow smoked over apple wood in imported ovens, so smoked brisket and pulled pork are sure to follow, but it's the whole baby piglet for 8 which steals the show.

The bar offers American whiskies and bourbons, selected American craft brewery beers and an extensive cocktail and wine list.
