We had a meal at this restaurant this weekend, and I have to say I was hugely impressed. The staff rearranged tables to accomodate us, the food was prompt and tasty, and the service was beyond reproach. We were made to feel so looked after, even though it was very busy. This was service at it's best, especially the girl who handwrapped my granddaughter's takeaway at the table to her delight. We'll be back.

I completely agree with the earlier review. The chips looked exhausted, and tasted like they had been re-heated. The batter was stodgy and oily. The salad also looked tired. This restaurant sells itself as a 'chippy', so if they can't even get the chips right then what's the point?
