Churchill Thai Kitchen Description

The Churchill Arms is a friendly pub that can be found on Kensington Church Street. As the name suggests there is plenty of Churchill memorabilia but also collections of various other oddities such as chamber pots and butterflies. The warm and friendly atmosphere attracts a great number of regulars but many people come here simply for the Thai food rather than to drink. The restaurant is situated in a light, glass roofed area decorated with plenty of greenery, where they serve good Thai curries and stir-fries etc, for around the £6 mark, excellent value for London, making this a great value find.

Wonderful, fresh flavours! Nice staff. Best of all is the amazing living ceiling - dozens of tropical (and carnivorous) plants hang down to create a warm, tropical feel. Close to Notting Hill, and Portobello Road. Worth a trip just to try this restaurant!

The food is fantastic there, and ridiculously cheap. My Thai friend said that it’s is one of the best Thai restaurants that he has ever been to, and that the food is authentic.
