Located in the heart of Douglas, more precisely on the ground floor of Admiral House, they have been serving international and modern European cuisine to locals and visitors for a long time. From the a la carte menu, typically expect locally smoked salmon, shaved fennel, new potato salad and citrus vinaigrette followed by roast pigeon breast, grilled polenta, pancetta wafers and date sauce. For dessert, the slow roasted pear, vanilla sablé, pecan and maple ice cream are delectable while the largely European wine list with some notable New World exceptions holds more than a whiff of promise.
