Cinnamon Tree, The Description
The Cinnamon Tree enjoys a reputation for being one of the best, if not the best, Indian restaurants in the city of Cardiff, a place not exactly under-endowed with the breed. Whilst all the usual and well-loved dishes are present there is plenty of room for such exotica as flaming ostrich and other dishes not normally encountered in your average Indian.
Staffing is efficient and friendly, so often a refreshing feature of Indian restaurants and the upstairs bar provides the opportunity for drinks before and/or after the meal.
For a degree of excellence that is noticeably above average you will be expected to pay more but it is worth every penny.

What can I say! It’s was truly fantastic meal in a great atmosphere with friendly service. I’m looking forward to my next visit with the family.

I had heard good things about this restaurant but had a disappointing experience. I had a table booked for 9.30pm but they could not find my name on the sheet. When that was sorted out the food was disappointing – the rice was not cooked and the naan bread was burnt. When I tried to send it back the staff were not very cooperative. I will not go there again.
