A traditional English pub on Farringdon Lane, City Pride is a vibrant bar with a comfortable laidback ambience and has a spacious beer garden to enjoy sunny weather. The pub also has a wide ranging menu that offers international cuisine specialities as well as homemade specials and lighter bar snacks with something for everyone.
 
Starters of breaded white bait, spicy chicken wings or homemade calamari with chilli and lime mayonnaise get the meal going. Main courses include pub classics such as sausage and mash, gammon steak, steak and Guinness pie or fish and chips; or diners can choose from the grilled fare of BBQ baby back ribs, rump steak, homemade lamb burger or 'Jamaica me crazy' pork chop with spicy bean sauce served on a bed of rice. Platters to share, available from 5 p.m., offer tempura prawn, chicken nachos, potato wedges, hot wings and chive mayonnaise.

As you would expect the well-stocked bar offers the full range of Fuller's ales and beers as well as a selection of wines from around the world. The City Pride also has a separate function room that can be booked for any occasion, from birthday parties to corporate events.
