Having retired and moved into the area, my husband and I were delighted to find such a lovely olde worlde restaurant, which reminded us of our Public House, which we ran for many years. The food is exceptional, the sweets homemade and very reasonably priced, as are the wines. The additional fresh fish menu was an added bonus. We found the owners and staff most friendly and cannot praise the lovely little restaurant enough, so try it, you would not be disappointed.

We have now visited Cliffords Cottage three times and each time we have been amazed at the quality of the food presented to us. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, from the starter through to dessert, and each time we have tried something different (except for my husband, who has to have the white chocolate cheesecake!). We have recommended this restaurant to everyone we speak to, and plan to go back again very soon.
