My fiance and I have come here a few times now and love it every time. There's always something new on the menu, the food is just incredible and there's a good buzz. The good-sized portions ensure that my 'walking dustbin' husband never goes hungry! All the staff are lovely to us every time. I don't think the prices are high at all and it's definitely cheaper and miles better than other restaurants we've tried in the area. We absolutely love this place!

We visited the Clifton Kitchen last Friday and had the most delicious meal. The service, atmosphere was great and the food fabulous. The menu is quite short as it should be if the food is to be cooked fresh and the wine list is good. But we were there on a ‘bring your own’ night. All the food was served in sensible portions - the tempura stuffed courgette flowers were a triumph and the cheese was served at room temperature. Hooray! We will certainly be back.
