Clos Maggiore Description

In the heart of the West End, off Covent Garden's Piazza, Clos Maggiore is a romantic remembrance of stylish country inns in Provence with a refreshing approach to modern French cuisine. Boasting an intimate blossom-adorned courtyard underneath a fully opening a glass roof, offering alfresco dining during the summer and dining under the stars at night, the venue is beautiful. With a discreet private dining room, on the first floor, can lend itself to a myriad of uses, for any type of corporate event or an extra special occasion.

With a menu that's inspired by the tastes and traditions of France, but not constrained by it, Clos Maggiore is committed to real food, and real cooking. Head chef Marcellin Marc, formally of 2 Michelin Star 'Clos de la Violette', and his team, use their training, skill and dedication to bring the very best out in every dish and highlight the inherent flavour of its principle ingredients. The result, cuisine that is both modern and traditional in style, sophisticated and honest in presentation.

Your Reviews of Clos Maggiore

Duncan (1 March 2009)

I recently dined at Clos Maggiore with my girlfriend; we both thought it was amazing. The members of staff were polite and attentive, the atmosphere was cosy and warm, the food was stunning in every detail and the wine list was immense. 10/10. My sister dined there last week and loved it too. It's now my one of my favourite restaurants in London.

Mary Deans (5 January 2008)

My daughter and I booked the three course pre-theatre menu £19.99. It was excellent, all round from the attention of the staff to the quality of the food. All courses from the soup and squid risotto, to the pear and almond tart and cheese selection dessert were superbly cooked and presented. Try the coffee and petit fours as a finale. The wine is a bit expensive by the glass but of excellent quality. I had a cold at the time and the waitress kept me supplied with water. I will certainly recommend the restaurant to friends from the Highlands for when they come down for a trip to London.
