On the bustling Middle Street lies a warm, welcoming getaway for gastronomic enthusiasts. During summer, the restaurant's pretty Parisian terrace with a variety of flora, herbs and vines mesmerises visitors and in winter, a large open fireplace makes it a cosy retreat. The soothing atmosphere, unpretentious dining area and uncluttered, oddly shaped tables offer an invitation to relax and enjoy modern European style dining. The Coach House's varied historical identities spread over three hundred years are also reflected in the décor.

The menu may kick off with saffron mussels, halloumi and shallot brochette and tea smoked duck salad. The main course favours roast organic lamb served with garlic and honey glazed carrots and the day's fish special. All the desserts are homemade and include rhubarb and vanilla brûlée and hot chocolate fondant.

The wine list is arranged stylistically and includes the often overlooked port, which is available by the glass.
