Colombier, Le Description
Formerly the Princess of Wales pub, this place has been transformed and now specialises in classic French bistro dishes, with an authentic Gallic bistro atmosphere. Le Colombier certainly fits the bill, from good old escargots and duck liver terrine to goats cheese salad, they are all listed on the menu here. Follow any of these with the equally traditional favourites such as steak and frites or lapin a la moutarde, leaving just enough space to finish with a crepe suzette. When cooking is this good it's best to stick to the real classics that are a triumph every time.
