Commissary, The

The Commissary is the kind of place you have to hear about rather than one that simply attracts passing trade. The reason for this is that it's part of Eagle Wharf Studios, a rather vast series of photographic studios. The restaurant is located in an airy room with views out onto the Regents Canal and Eagle Wharf Marina. There are even a few outside tables to be had, perfect for a sunny day.

The menu has a Mediterranean feel to it from simple salads and sandwiches, to more hearty dishes such as fish pie. As the restaurant fits in with the working time of the studios you'll have to finish dining here by 8pm in the winter or 10 pm in the summer, alternatively stick to lunchtimes. Also with many a celebrity being photographed in the studios it's worth keeping an eye out for the odd famous face whilst dining here.
