Commodore Cafe

With a simple grey exterior, Commodore Café might appear to be an unassuming North Side dining destination but pop in and you'll discover a world of relaxation, entertainment and good food and drink. The buzzing interior is filled with war flags, pictures, beer trays and knick knacks, making visits like journeys back in time.

Breakfast starts at 7am and takes in steak and eggs, sandwiches, hot French toast, pancakes, and omelettes and cheese, among other choices. Mealtime appetizers could include nachos topped with beef; onion rings, and café fries smothered with cheese and bacon. Mains are divided into pastas, seafood and beef dinners, and encompass capellini with chicken, stuffed cod, a wonderful 10oz filet mignon as well as specialty pizza, burgers and salads.

Mister Bill's Tap and Grill is the bar side of the restaurant, and is another exciting area with poker machines, an internet juke box and screens where you can view live sporting events. The service is always quick and with a smile - a feature that makes customers want to go back to Commodore.
