Conservatory Restaurant at The Royal Wells Hotel, The Description
It seems strange to see such an extraordinarily elegant building referred to as an Inn. Indeed a 19th century visitor in the form of Princess Victoria can hardly have been amused, though recent 'revelations' seem to suggest this might not necessarily have been so. The views from the striking first floor conservatory restaurant are superb. So too are the offerings served within it which, whilst classic in approach, are drawn from all over the world. A comfortably priced, and well-chosen wine list with House wine at £10.20 helps make for a memorable visit. I wonder if she ever brought Albert here?
