Convivio Description
Convivio - the name may bring in images of people engaged in a friendly banter, lots of food and drink, and lively music to match the mood - yes, it's all happening here at this centrally located lounge bar and restaurant. The kitchen's philosophy is to keep things straightforward and the menu takes on an 'Italy meets Greece' approach.
So get started with a plate of olives or mezzedaki with tzatziki, taramosalata, hummus and pita bread. The much loved piatto di pesce misto or the fish platter, and a Pavarotti pizza from the traditional stone oven made by an Italian 'pizzaiolo' will not fail to please those looking for rustic Italian cooking. A 32 oz T-bone steak fiorentina is another favourite that's carved at the table and there is also a wide selection of pasta dishes.
In the lounge bar, treat yourself to a cocktail or glass of champagne. Choose something delicious from the menu and relax in the stunning surroundings. Weekends in particular at Convivio are fun times with lots of live music happening.

Yet again the food and service at Convivio was excellent. The staff are so helpful and it is a refreshing change compared to some venues. My wife and I enjoyed the steak fiorentina shared between the two of us, perfectly cooked and this was carved at the table by Evgeni. It definitely made the other diners sit up and take notice! We will be joining them on the 12th November as they are celebrating their first birthday and have a lovely menu for £10 per head including canapés and champagne on arrival. Not to be missed.

What a great night we had! The food was really tasty and the ambiance was relaxing yet buzzing at the same time. We both chose pizzas and they were both cooked to perfection and great value for money. We couldn't fault the food or experience at all. The staff were really friendly and efficient and we would definitely recommend it. There is a bar upstairs with music and entertainment, so it is an excellent night out too.
