Cookie

72 Nithsdale Road, Glasgow, G41 2AN

Glasgow's home of real food, Cookie is a new kind of eatery, incorporating a deli, cookery and every kind of food event. With a kitchen laid bare for all to see, their pleasure is in reuniting diners with cooks, growers, farmers and makers in a shared love of good food. Just as local ingredients and seasonal produce are central to the menu, so is the kitchen open to and shared with their customers and guests. They will cook to your taste, the style is informal and the atmosphere is friendly. Specialities there include dishes such as rillettes and pate, house antipasti, and pasta of your choice for light bites. If you fancy something more filling you could order roast lamb bubble 'n' squeak, or braised pork belly with sprouts and chestnuts.

REVIEWS OF Cookie

J Smith (17 March 2011)

Cookie is a little gem. It is kid friendly in a way that many places only pay lip service to. Chalk & toys for little ones. It has staff that look after you making you feel welcome in a natural way. The place has magic food, West on tap, great house wine and doesn’t break the bank for top notch quality.

Drsmith (23 April 2010)

We had a great night at Cookie last weekend. It lives up to all that you read about it. Fantastic olive oil, the best we've ever tasted with the best house baked bread , the sea bream was also cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, efficient and without pretensions. It’s made a destination for itself, and is well worth the trip across the river if you're not local.
