Char grilled burgers made of 100 per cent minced steak from traditionally-matured, grass-fed beef from Donald Russell's are the menu's highlight. They are served in a brioche bun with little gem lettuce, beef tomato, red onion and hand-cut chips. Other options include tuna and wasabi, pork and turkey and classic steak burger as well as chef's special of homemade steak and ale stew. Real ales offered here include Davy's Old Wallop, served in pewter tankards, and seasonal guest ales from Shepherd Neame, one of the most respected breweries in the country.
