Cooperage

Davy's, 48-50 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2SZ

Conveniently located near London Bridge Station on Tooley Street, the Cooperage stays true to its traditional heritage. This is a place where barrels were made and guests can enjoy the informal friendly atmosphere with sawdust on the floor, original Coopers' tools on the walls and an open fire. A range of traditional pub specials delights the diner. Char grilled burgers made of 100 per cent minced steak from traditionally-matured, grass-fed beef from Donald Russell's are the menu's highlight. They are served in a brioche bun with little gem lettuce, beef tomato, red onion and hand-cut chips. Other options include tuna and wasabi, pork and turkey and classic steak burger as well as chef's special of homemade steak and ale stew.
