Coq d'Argent

The setting is elegant and lavish with the lovely roof garden creating a superb atmosphere: the food at this D&D restaurant is classic French infused with contemporary flavours.

Choosing what to eat might prove a dilemma but you could make a start with the lobster bisque and crispy salad roll and move on to a main course of rump of venison with dried fruit and nut faggot, braised red cabbage, mini pear and grand veneur sauce. There are ample choices for dessert including a warm bitter chocolate fondant with coffee sorbet and white chocolate marshmallow. The wine list offers mostly French selections although it does pay attention to other important wine producing countries across the globe.
