This is one of the most esteemed restaurants in Peurto Pollensa, established in 1960. I have personally been eating there since 1995. It was originally called the BeckFi. The starter sausages are excellent and the meat is what it’s all about, though they do respectable fish platters as well. Chips are nice and oil laden - liberal use is made of rock salt. Don't expect a budget meal here, but prepare to be satisfied. I do miss George, the original proprietor who sold out two or three years ago. It’s hard to replace his touch but the new management is trying hard. In the winter enjoy the log fires when they are open, which is not all winter as was the case years ago. I also miss the onion soup, which I believe is no longer on the menu. The new management have added a ‘Bistro’ feel by branching out onto the pavement closer to the beach - a nice touch.
