5*. Ate here for lunch wednesday and going this friday evening. A very good value high quality place with excellent cooking and good ingredients. Informal but smart. Service was professional and attentive, of a higher level than expected. Decor and athmosphere brand new. A lot of money has been spent here I think in anticipation of a deserved long run. 4 of us and a hungry child ate lunch here for c£75, incl service with drinks extra. Mains from £9 to £20 with 2 course set menu (check timings) for ££9.95. No desserts for us but the remains of the toddlers Torte au Chocolate tasted very nice! Very good value we thought and ideal place for a first date or an 80th birthday party. Lots of space but do reserve! Obviously the problem (in my personal opinion) is to keep the menu changing without spoiling the formula. I recommend this restaurant.

Ate at Hampstead NW3 lunchtime today. Dec 21. Four of us plus a baby. Very impressed with the food quality, cooking and the price. Menu is varied and my chicken was excellent as was my sons steak. Cant remember the others!. Babys chocolate desert tasted very nice. Excellent attentive service from friendly professional staff. Even the bread was crisp and warm. I was surprised to find they have so many restaurants as I thought this quality would be owner managed. Do reserve as it was full by 1pm.
