Simple and beautiful bistro cooking has always been popular in France, but now more than ever, there has been a renewal of interest with many people opting to turn away from formal restaurants. Côte brings this trend to the UK with their many restaurants spread across London and Surrey. Common amongst them all are the chic décor elements and the Parisian feel is never too far with the al fresco tables outside.

The menu brings back well loved classics such as steak frites and salad niçoise. Typically, their menu could begin with a duck, chicken and pork liver terrine with toasted sourdough and grape chutney. For main course, there's char grilled salmon with ratatouille with lemon juice and olive oil dressing while the warm chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream is a perfect and sweet end. The wine list is not surprisingly French and features a wide variety of reds, whites, rosés and champagnes.
