Cottons - Camden Description
Caribbean influences abound in this tropical restaurant on Chalk Farm Road in Camden, and you will not be surprised to note that it is one of those places where you can let your hair down and have great food too. Perfect for a night out with friends, at Cottons you can also drop in at Jamaica, their cool and trendy bar where they serve more than 270 kinds of rums from all over the world.
The menu is a tribute to the glorious West Indies where you can typically find starters such as smoked duck breast and watermelon salad with sweet pickled ginger and mint dressing. Follow this up with their famous curried goat served with rice and peas or the Trinidadian mixed fish curry with green peppers, lemongrass, yam and coconut rice and finish with the chocolate and rum cake served with whipped cream.

As soon as you walk in you can feel the Caribbean vibes. I went there by casually, so me and my boyfriend didn't book a table. The manager was very kind and managed to find us a table even if the place was really busy. I had the best food ever; it tasted like home, back in the Caribbean. The service was really good. The environment at the bar was lively but chilled, and they have the best range of rum. I rate it 10/10 really deserved!
