Courtyard Restaurant Description
The Courtyard Restaurant is set amidst the bustling independent boutiques, teashops, antique shops, fine eateries and galleries at Montpellier mews. It provides a relaxing venue to enjoy a pleasant time in between a leisurely browse through what is growing to be one of Harrogate's most popular and stylish destinations. The interior features an idyllic cobbled courtyard where guests can order modern British cuisine prepared from freshly sourced local produce.
Salmon and crab fishcakes, served with horseradish and lemon crème fráiche and breast of pigeon on a warm beetroot salad are a good combination to herald the beginning of the meal. The main course could consist of pan fried sea bass on a warm new potato, chorizo, green bean and red pepper salad served with a white wine sauce and rib eye steak served with onion rings, homemade chips and a warm mushroom cream. A rich citrus cheese cake with cream and fruit coulis should fill in any chinks.

I can't praise this restaurant enough. It has attractive setting and welcoming décor, very helpful and pleasant front of house staff, and fantastic food. Well done Chef! Loved the aubergine chips, can still taste them. We were in Harrogate for the weekend but wish you were local to us. Will definitely come again next time we are up from Twickenham. All the best!

I love this restaurant. It looked so pretty and fresh which drew us inside. The young lady who served us was very friendly, helpful and pleasantly attentive. Now for the important bit the food, it was excellent, fresh and interesting combination of flavours and beautifully presented. I travel for my work and eat out a lot hence being in Harrogate I wish this was local to me as I would be a regular visitor.
