Couscous Cafe Description

This small but perfectly formed café style restaurant enjoys an excellent trade and is particularly popular with couples looking for an intimate and romantic place to dine. The authentic Moroccan inspired décor certainly gets you in the mood for a menu following the same theme. Starters such as grilled sardines or tabouleh can followed by a choice of some very fine tagines, slow cooked the traditional way for real melt in the mouth tender meats and a wonderfully aromatic aroma, thanks to plenty of interesting spices. Service is unhurried so feel free to linger over drinks, dessert, or simply a glass of their refreshing mint tea.

I enjoyed the Couscous Cafe in May 2004. I had a wonderful experience, and I recommend it to anyone I know who will be travelling to London! I can not fully express how much I enjoyed the experience!

On our way from Bayswater station to our hotel, we passed by the café and agreed to have our dinner at that place. After having experienced the great Moroccan food, we wished to have both breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same place. However, we settled for dinner the next evening.

I was talked into choosing the Bastilla Djej and I have never tasted anything like that!!! The best taste in the world - in my opinion. So thank you to the nice and helpful staff for choosing these 2 meals for me.
