Crazy Bear - Beaconsfield Description

Luxury and opulence is evident everywhere, right from the rich and well appointed bedrooms to the lush furnishings, and even the excellent restaurant and bar. The over-the-top décor seems to be a deliberate effort as part of a studied plan to provide diners and guests with the feeling of unmitigated indulgence and it works amazingly well. The menu offers English and Thai cuisines and diners could face a dilemma in choosing the delicious meal, no matter what the occasion is.

From the Thai menu, you could start with a mixed seafood soup or starters of crispy Peking duck roll and move on to the seared tuna with crispy salmon skin and green salad. There's nothing better than a cold smoked eel with ratte potato and horseradish salad, followed by a main course of slow cooked veal shin served with savoy cabbage if British food is your choice. End with a flourless bitter chocolate cake and milk ice cream and do take note of the carefully planned wine list.

Your Reviews of Crazy Bear - Beaconsfield

Taylor (30 July 2009)

I had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Salad of broad beans - peas followed by plaice fillets, was well presented. With efficient and friendly staff and totally over the top décor, particularly in the ladies, I loved the whole experience, even though it was the middle of the day.
