Crichton's Description

Allerton Road is home to a number of attractive bars and restaurants but what sets Crichton's apart is the fact that it offers customers a pleasing combination of space, style and tasty food, qualities that have made it a popular destination for celebrations and relaxing dinners.

The chic piano bar with its floor to ceiling glass windows, chandeliers, fire place and multitude of choices is open all day from 1:00pm. Weekly live entertainment nights turn the bar into one of the most inviting Liverpool venues.

The rustic and laidback restaurant focuses on providing customers with a mix of traditional and European cuisine with a Mediterranean influence and a twist of the orient. Choose from starters of freshly steamed mussels; haddock and spring onion fishcakes, and honey garlic beef on a bed of warm noodles. Among mains, aubergine comes to the table stuffed with Italian herbs and vegetables; Nile perch is served with new potatoes and cherry tomatoes, and half a lobster appears with a 4oz steak.

The service is friendly and always with a smile.

My partner and I ate at Crichton’s and the sea bass was delicious, the service was second to none and the prices were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We’re looking forward to going back there in the near future.
