With distinctive flair, Richard Forbes and David Whitnell have created at Crofters Brasserie a pleasant, innovative style encapsulated in their menu and wine list, all aided and abetted by a casual, laidback atmosphere, making the whole a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Crofters is located just off the high street in Witham; their décor is colourful, warm, soothing, and sophisticated urban chic. They describe their Menu as Natural Fusion 'blending the very best and freshest that nature has to offer', with a variety of seafood, steaks, pastas, as well as more sophisticated dishes and delicious desserts.
Examples of popular dishes might include first courses such as four cheese raviolis, roast tomato and basil or mussels, mariniere or thai style with crusty bread, followed by pot roast rump of lamb with roasted root vegetables or corn fed chicken breast on goat's cheese, blushed tomato and chirozo risotto.

A wonderful restaurant hidden away in the depths of Witham. The food is exceptionally priced and would rival any London restaurant. The service was very good and very friendly. I could not think of another place that serves such good food with such a smile. I recommend this restaurant highly. If you have never been to Crofters it is seriously worth a try!
