I popped down to The Cross Keys last Sunday on the off chance that there might be a table free for me and my girlfriend as we had been trying to find a good roast in Leeds for the last few weeks. Although the place was pretty busy, we were greeted with a smile and shown to a table straight away. My game terrine was a fantastic starter, followed by the roast pork, apparently Gloucester Old Spot, I'm told by the staff is a great quality rare breed pig, which was just as delicious. Having decided to make an afternoon of it we were guided through the small but broad wine list and opted for a lovely Chilean Pinot Noir. This washed down a beautiful apple and blackberry crumble and I even squeezed in a British cheeseboard as well. A fantastic afternoon, would highly recommend.

The Cross Keys is a great pub with fantastic beers and lovely food. I went to eat with my friends and we had a fabulous dinner. The rabbit and lamb were so tasty and it was nice to see interesting and different things on the menu. The price was reasonable as you really felt the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. Brilliant!
