Cuba Libre & Bar Havana

Che Guevara, Kruschev, Kennedy and Castro could be busy playing cards as you dine at Cuba Libre and Bar Havana, albeit in the papier-mâché form but the interior has been designed primarily to mimic a bar in downtown Havana. There's a vibrant atmosphere too with great music and an area to dance, so sip some rum, sink some Che Guevara beer and enjoy an evening of fun.

Cuban cooking provides much of the inspiration here with starters like fried ripe plantain gratin served with guacamole; sautéed slices of Spanish sausage with green olives, and the chef recommended empanada filled with spicy shredded pork. Fish lovers and vegetarians will be happy to choose cod fishcakes, stewed with onions and spices served with cassava and black beans and rice, and casserole of fresh vegetables and herbs with saffron rice.

The tapas menu at Cuba Libre provides the best opportunity for sharing with fellow diners.
