We went there for lunch on a Saturday, the food was fantastic and my partner had the steak and ale pie which was lovely. I had the pasta special with chicken and sun dried tomatoes which was as good as any Italian restaurant could do. Service was efficient and couldn't be faulted. The desserts are all very tempting - we shared a chocolate dime bar, which was well worth the calories. The meal with two drinks each came to about £25, which I thought was great value.

Booked for 7 pm 6th July 2006, told to arrive promptly as they would be busy due to Jazz in Botanical Gardens that evening. Arrived 7 pm prompt; door locked, left standing outside like other would-be customers. Our phone number had been taken when we booked, but no one bothered to phone us to say that they had decided not to open. No one was impressed! 0/10 for customer service.
